HealthRadio is an American online talk radio and podcast platform owned by Health Radio Network, LLC that features talk radio style programming on a variety of health, wellness, fitness, and medical topics. The website features real-time audio streaming of health talk shows in progress, as well as 75 Health Channels that allow users to choose from about 2,000 archived programs and podcasts.
HealthRadio.net features several doctors, including Michael Roizen, Derrick DeSilva, and Glen House.
The network affiliates with medical organizations and health websites to develop and produce talk programming about specific areas of medicine and health. HealthRadio.net has strategic alliances with the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American College of Sports Medicine, the American Heart Association, the American College of Emergency Physicians, RealAge.com, and others, producing talk shows with each entity.
HealthRadio was created in 2006 by Chicago radio broadcaster, Tim Disa, Sr. The company partnered with Naples, Florida based Nature Trade Center, Inc. in early 2009 and formed Health Radio Network, LLC. In addition to providing health information, HealthRadio provides its services to develop unique, branded online health talk platforms for hospitals throughout America, featuring the host hospital's doctors and medical staff as guests on the shows that are accessed from the hospital's website. The network also provides branded HealthRadio online health supplement stores to radio station websites.
