Hasanuddin Ahmed

Hasanuddin Ahmed, I.A.S., (born in 1923 in Hyderabad, India) is an Indian Administrative Service officer and former chairman of National Commission for Minorities. He served as Special Collector - Nagarjuna Sagar, Director - Fisheries, Director - Settlement, and Officer on Special Duty Endowments at New Delhi.
Ahmed is a renowned scholar and author of more than in USA, and India. He has won several awards and recognitions through the world. Ahmed is a trend setter, he started a program to educate deserving students, he founded the "Pustak Daan" (Donate books) scheme in Japan, Russia and Europe in 1946-47.
