Harvard Art Review

The Harvard Art Review is a student-run publication at Harvard University that highlights and critiques the Harvard artistic community. The magazine first published in 1966 by Peter S. Brooks and ran for four years until 1970. The original publication of the magazine ran for four volumes, with twelve volumes in total. The Harvard Art Review was later re-launched in spring 2010 as a web and print-based publication by Morgan Mallory and Jack Turban.
Of the original 1966 launch, the Harvard Crimson stated that the magazine "tends to emphasize the virtuosity of each contributing author rather than the intrinsic importance of the subject itself".
