Happy Sindane

Happy Sindane (born June 25, 1984) was a very controversial personality in South Africa who ignited discussions on apartheid in post-apartheid South Africa. He claimed that he was a white boy who was abducted by a black woman and raised in her family. But later it was found out that he was born to an African mother and he was not abducted as he claimed.
Happy Sindane was born Abbey Mzayiya in Thembisa Hospital on June 25, 1984, to Rina Mzayiya (a South African Black). His biological father was Henry Nick, a German white. His father never recognized him and his mother abandoned him when he was a child. He grew up in a Ndebele speaking family and was not fluent in Afrikaans or English. Although he was fair skinned and blonde haired, he had slight African facial features. Picture-African features clearly visible
After the truth came out, Sindane was placed in a correction center and he became an alcoholic. He was ran over by a car and a minibus and was very seriously injured. However he recovered from his injuries.
