Half-creatures are fictional creatures of two of more species. Commonly, the half-creature is one part human, such as in the case of the Minotaur, who was said to have been half man, half bull. Half-creatures can be found in classical mythology, as well as in modern fantasy.

* The Chimera, according to Homer, have the foreparts of a lion, the middle of a goat and the hindquarters of a serpent.

*Alucard from Castlevania: Symphony of the Night is a half-vampire.
*Dizzy from the Guilty Gear series is a half-gear.
*Uriko from the Bloody Roar series is a half cat.
*Soren from Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance is half-laguz and half-beorc.
*Dante and Vergil from the Devil May Cry series are both half-demons.
Television, anime and film
*InuYasha and Naraku from the InuYasha anime are both half-demons.
*Paige Matthews, Chris Halliwell and Wyatt Halliwell from Charmed are all Whitelighter/witch hybrids.
*The four main characters from Tokyo Mew Mew were infused with DNA from four different animals, making them kemonomimis.
*Characters from Fruits Basket are also half-creatures.
* Marishka, Aleera and Verona (the 3 vampires from Van Helsing), arguably some people consider them as harpies or succubus.
