Habiba Sinare

Habiba Sinare (born January 22, 1996) is a Ghanaian actress, model, film producer and entrepreneur.She’s related to the Legendary Ghanaian actress Kalsoume Sinare and Said Sinare, a Ghanaian diplomat and politician, who’s a member of the . Habiba Sinare started her career with acting before becoming a Ghana Movie producer /filmmaker and has already started winning many awards. Habiba Sinare's first movie as a producer is titled '18' which got nominated for 13 categories at 2020 Ghana Movie Awards. Habiba has the vision to uphold the moral value of women in Africa and help build their self-esteem. She aspires to be an example to every young African. To accomplish this, she has established the Mamamariam Foundation and a school tour project dubbed Adjusting The Lens with Habiba Sinare “ATL”.
Early life
Habiba Sinare was born in Tamale, Ghana. She is from the Northern part of Ghana. Habiba Sinare is a practicing Muslim, born in Muslim family. She had her secondary education at Tamale Senior High School. She later had her tertiary education at University of Ghana, where she did a degree course in Medicine
Career
Habiba Sinare begun her acting at age 22 and the first movie she featured as the lead character in was titled “18” which has given her great recognition and won her some great awards. Gaining experience in the movie industry, Habiba built her own production house - Yaseen films which is named after her only son and started producing her own movies in 2019. Aside Acting and producing movies, Habiba owns a makeup brand and a skincare line (ERANISS BY HABIBA & ERANISS SKIN respectively). The name Eraniss is her surname “SINARE” turned upside down with an additional “S”.
Personal life
In April 2017, Abdul Majeed Waris completed the Islamic marraige rite to take long standing girlfriend, Habiba Sinare as a wife. The ex FC Lorient star officially married Habiba Sinare in a ceremony, which was attended by family and friends of both the bride and the groom, at a mosque at Pig farm. Their marriage ended in 2019 after a year and 4 months. The ex-couple have a son together.
Philanthropy
Habiba Sinare founded the Mama Mariam Foundation, a non-profit organization that seeks a world where everyone deprived areas across the country has the opportunity to good health, quality education and aiding vocational skills. The foundation work is guided by its mission to change and create opportunities for the youth whiles developing evidence-based solution that can be scaled up benefit as many women and children as possible and it’s stand “We love. We give. We change”.
As part of the foundation’s health outreach, screened more than a thousand (1000) Zongo women for breast cancer. According to the founder of the foundation, Miss Sinare, the exercise which was dubbed ‘Pink October Breast screening’ was to also mark "Breast Cancer Awareness Month" which is celebrated globally in October by the World Health Organization (WHO).
She disclosed that the rationale behind the health outreach aspect of the Foundation was to provide quality health assistance to women in the Zongo communities.
The screening, which was a three-day exercise, took place in three Zongo communities; Nima, Mamobi and New Town from Friday 22 - Sunday 24 October 2021, with more than 1000 people screened, the majority being women.
