Greg Lindsay is an American actor, comedian and filmmaker. As an actor, he is known for roles in films such as The Nice Guys and Blades of Glory and on television shows such as Las Vegas and Charmed. He has also written and produced films Reality Queen! and Joe Dick (which he also directed) and the television show Girls Behaving Badly with Chelsea Handler. As a comedian, he has performed stand up and/or improvisation at the biggest clubs in the United States such as The Comedy Store, The Improv, and ImprovOlympic. Early life While in college at The University of New York at Buffalo (which he had earned a scholarship for Football), he started to perform on local comedy television shows and in commercials. Lindsay also joined Kappa Sigma fraternity and, while he was Grand Master of Ceremonies, helped create sketch comedy shows that played on local TV stations. Upon graduating college (Cum Laude), Lindsay moved to Chicago to pursue a career in comedy. He immediately auditioned and got in classes with improv guru teacher, Del Close. After five weeks, he got placed on a house team and performed long form improvisation alongside comedy greats Jon Favreau, Adam McKay, Tina Fey, and Amy Poehler to name a few. Career Lindsay performed one to two shows a night, four to five days a week on the main stages at the top improvisation comedy clubs and theaters in Chicago (ImprovOlympic, Annoyance Theater, The Improv, etc.), and after almost four years finally made the move to Los Angeles to further his career. Lindsay landed three television shows in his first two months. He continues to be a well rounded filmmaker—actor, writer, producer, director, stand up and creator. Lindsay has acted in numerous national television commercials, top network and cable TV shows and blockbuster films. Lindsay has written, produced and directed feature films and television shows and continues to perform stand up, an occasional improv or sketch comedy show and is now making his mark in social media with his collaborations with the hottest comedy content creators in the world.
