Greg Prato is an American author. He is the author of two books , 'A Devil on One Shoulder and an Angel on the Other: The Story of Shannon Hoon and Blind Melon' and 'Touched by Magic: The Tommy Bolin Story,' which were released via Lulu.com. Greg's third book, 'Grunge is Dead: The Oral History of Seattle Rock Music,' will be released on April 1, 2009, via ECW Press. Greg has written for a wide variety of music sites and magazines over the years, including Allmusic, Rolling Stone, Billboard, , Record Collector, and , among others. Greg has done articles on quite a few of his favorite musical artists, including interviews with members of The Ramones , , Parliament-Funkadelic , Faith No More , Black Sabbath , The Doors , Steely Dan , Nirvana , , Judas Priest , Deep Purple , Motörhead , and William Shatner , among countless other human beings. Greg is a graduate of Harborfields High School and Stony Brook University, and resides in Long Island, New York. |
