The Grand Duchy of Canberra is one of the two remaining Grand Duchy's in world along with the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. The Grand Duchy of Canberra does not have any practical powers having handed them over to the Australian government upon the naming of the city of Canberra as the new capital of Australia. In total there have been 8 Grand Dukes and no Grand Duchess. The Grand Dukes remain very quite and very secretive with to the point that most Australians do not even know of the existence of the Grand Duchy. The Current Grand Duke is His Royal Highness Grand Duke Daniel Marcus Pierre Eastwood. The Grand Duchy was established on may 16 1832. Very little is known about it.
