Grand Angel

Grand Angel is a hip hop duo consisting of rappers Grand NOBLE and Archangel. The group was formed in Los Angeles, CA in 2006.
Christopher John Vantress aka Grand NOBLE was born in San Francisco, CA (5/17/1987). Wade Wilson aka Archangel was born in Oakland, CA (3/16/1987).
Since 2008, they've hosted an online Hip Hop show "Grand Angel TV" interviewing Hip Hop acts.
The show has featured: LMNO (of The Visionaries), Kev Brown, Sean Price (of Boot Camp Clik & Heltah Skeltah), 2Mex (of The Visionaries), B-Real (of Cypress Hill), Young De (of Tangled Thoughts), Xzibit, Sick Jacken (of Psycho Realm), Tech N9ne, Krizz Kaliko, Kutt Calhoun, Crooked I and (of Slaughterhouse), Ya Boy aka YB The Rockstar and Dudley Perkins aka Declaime.
In 2008, Grand Angel received a 5-Star Rating from MRAA (Major Recording Artist Alliance).
On 8/2/2011, Grand Angel and Planet Asia appeared on OG Huskey Radio to promote their tour with BCS' 2nd annual Soulstyce Festival.
May 2012, Grand Angel released a group project with Lady Socratez: The Royal Fellowship EP. In June 2012, the music video for the first single "Higher" won 1st place in the Sean Divine Artist Competition.
Biography
Grand Angel is a two-man group from the Bay Area, who met in their hometown of Richmond before moving to Los Angeles to pursue entertainment. In 2008, Grand Angel released their debut album as a group: Dark End Of The Stage; featuring 2Mex of The Visionaries and production from DJ DeeSkee.
Grand Angel has shared the stage with Redman, Fat Joe, Dilated Peoples, The Visionaries, Binary Star, Planet Asia, R.A. The Rugged Man and many other well-known underground Hip Hop acts. In addition to constantly working with local artists, Grand Angel has collaborated with many artists located outside of the USA; including Scotland, Poland, Ireland, the Philippines, England and France. After numerous collaborations with French DJ/producer DJ Tesskoi, Grand Angel's songs have been played on French Radio station RJM.
Formation (2006)
Grand Angel officially got started as a group in Los Angeles, CA under the tutelage of Michael Kelly of Executive Sound Productions & Studios. He helped form the group, signing them to the label Bay 2 L.A. Ent. Co. Michael Kelly also became Grand Angel's manager and was responsible for Artist Development.
