"Go Drink" is a drinking game originating at Georgia Tech in Atlanta, GA. It was created by Aaron Kane, Mike Linz and Roth Fralick. The rules are based off of the childhood card game "Go Fish," thus giving it its name. This game is spreading rapidly and is being played around the country. To name a few, it is played in TX, NY, CO, CA, FL, and GA. The rules are as follows:
1. Cards are dealt out so that everyone has (5 if a greater number of people are playing-- you want to have cards in the middle that people can draw from). 2. Everyone puts down their pairs. The person with the highest pair goes first and dishes out however many drinks the pair is. All face cards and aces are 10. (IE. Give out 5 drinks if you have a pair of 5s. Give out 10 drinks if you have a pair of Aces). 3. The person who starts (1) can ask a person (2) for a card. If person (2) has that card then they give it to person (1) at which point person (1) puts down the pair and dishes out that many drinks. If that person (2) does not have the card wanted, person (1) has to draw a card from the center and take a drink. If a card is drawn that person (1) has, he/she can put it down and dish out the drinks. 4. This continues in a circle. 5. People are allowed to give their cards away. The person who has received the card has to drink once unless the card given creates a pair. The person giving the card then has to drink double what the card is worth and The person who recieved the card gets to put down the pair and dish out drinks normally. 6. If a person asks how many cards you have, you must respond truthfully. 7. The first person to finish wins. Everyone must drink their highest card and the winner gets to create a rule.
