Global Atlanta

Global Atlanta is an Internet-based publication covering "locally international" news on global activities and a convener for Georgia's diplomatic community.
In 1990, Georgia-based journalist Philip P. Bolton established Agio Press to produce a bi-monthly newsletter on international business in Atlanta. He saw globalization taking place in his own backyard even before the 1996 Olympics and 1996 Paralympics brought Atlanta to the world's attention. This realization compelled Bolton to cover international business from a local perspective through GlobalFax News Service, which later evolved into Global Atlanta. Over the years, Global Atlanta became recognized as a multi-media source of news on Atlanta's rise as a center for international business, education, and culture.
In 2019, Bolton officially retired from Global Atlanta yet remains involved through international coverage and archiving projects. Trevor Williams, Global Atlanta's Managing Editor and author since 2007, leads the firm today.
