Glass hour

Glass Hour
Glass Hour is a phrase that would be considered a jargon that has different contexts as it addresses and relates to the subject matter of time travel. The "Glass" in "Glass Hour(s)" is more figurative as it is descriptiive of a "seeing through" of something; something clear or transparent. The "hour" contained within the phrase is used as a reference to time, which is what one would be "seeing through". The phrase is considered plural as there is not one specific instance the phrase defines, but is used to encompass all distortions or warps within time as understand it to function.

Instances and Examples

Ronald Mallett, who has written books and conducted experiments with light and gravity as relates to time travel (see references section), has created a laser ring process that is designed to generate a small-scale blackhole. The blackhole is used for bending and manipulating light and gravity as to alter or warp time, which is based upon ideas proposed by string theory within modern quantum physics. This bending or warping of reality at the point of the blackhole (created to connect to another opening within time like itself) would be an example of a Glass Hour. There are not only scientists discussing such theories, which they are putting into practice as technology progresses, but also several other sources---scientific and non-scientific alike---who talk about such ideas as intersections of time being a developing process for time travel. Elias, an channeled entity also references and discusses similar "portals" or "windows" within our world that may be subtly perceptible, but present nonetheless. Elias has sited the Bermuda Triangle as our most obvious and largest window to other times, places, and even other dimensions (Elias confirming the members of famous Flight 19 as using this as a doorway to another place, from whence they have not returned). Even long-running science fiction British Television series, Doctor Who explores time and space travel utilizing warps and distortions in time, also specifically using blackholes to accomplish this.

The ideas of time travel are emerging from fiction more and more. An article was released by Fox news (see references) explaining how time travel is not an impossibility. In his book, Physics of the Impossible, renowned physicist Michio kaku states that time travel is likely to be a reality within the next century or so. That is not too far off of a time that the small group known as Time Bridgers state that they are receiving communications from a future time frame (2163), who use a process that allows some items to be sent through time. They also go on to state that, from what they have been informed of, the limitation of what can realistically be sent to the past is limited by what can "survive" the process of transport that scientific communities within that time have developed. According to the Time Bridgers, the process is being further developed in many ways, of which results from the experimental communications with this present time frame is helping advance the process. Glass Hour instances are likened to the unfolding action similar to a Tesseract.

As ideas of time travel in one form or another becomes more mainstream, new terms are being created to identify with new experiences and events. The phrase Glass Hour is an example of newly emerging jargon related to time travel, the study of time's function, and the relationship between moment points that string theory has started to explore.

Contexts of the phrase
General context
Generally speaking, the phrase Glass Hour is used to describe experiences of seeing through time. Glass Hour is often used in reference to instances of bleedthroughs or moments where time overlaps or intersects with itself. A Glass Hour could also be defined as a distortion within time, as where these intersections of time frames are present, the function of time in those occurrences are warped or distorted, not flowing in the way we typically understand time within our present view of time.

Whether or not the phenomenon Glass Hours is used to describe is a direct effect or product of actual time travel is yet to be determined or stated. It is implied through what is available publically by the Time Bridgers regarding Glass Hours and in modern articles about time travel, that what the Time Bridgers call "Glass Hours" is result as a function of time, itself, and is a product of that natural function of time that we aren't presently understanding as of yet. Theories of Time Travel technology and methods, both practical, concrete, as well as more esoteric, subjective means are provided and openly discussed by the Time Bridgers Team who claim communications with people in various times (mostly future, as of April 2008).

Used as a focal point
Glass Hour, as relates to Time Bridgers activity, is a phrase that serves as a focal point. Those participating with Time Bridgers focus upon the Glass Hour phrase in an attempt to direct the concentrated pooling of attention and energy generated by doing this, to create a glass hour experience specifically within a desired location refered to as "Oba's area of enchantment" (Oba being a member of the Time Bridgers Team). This particular Glass Hour being set into place by the Time Bridgers is believe to connect our current time framework with the year 2163, where it is believed two individuals, Jonathan Blaire and James Heathreaux sent items and artifacts backward in time to a distant past, which then circulates, intentionally, to our present time frame where the items are found by a man named Ken (a.k.a Oba).

Glass Hour Meetings
Glass Hour meetings happen at agreed upon times designated by the Time Bridgers Team, wherein individuals choosing to participate concentrate or focus on the phrase "Glass Hour" in association with focusing upon the year 2163, Jon and James within 2163, and imaging within their minds, Ken/Oba's area of enchantment.
These Glass Hour meetings are organized and structured within a type of singular arrangment. The meetings are more geared toward the individuals participating than a physical group encounter. Thought times are scheduled for the meetings, there may be little or no verbal communication between members, and it is not required that any participants be within any range or physical proximity of one another. The significance in these meetings according to Opan of the Time Bridgers Team, is to pool a collective concentration within several layers of consciousness to be uniting those subtle awarenesses and energies, causing them to gain enough substance that the combined energies coalesce at the agreed upon intended target of Oba's area of enchantment; thereby, creating a distortion within time that will connect our time with 2163. From what the Time Bridgers group say, 2163 is the year in a probable future where two individuals they recognize as Jon and James, conduct time travel experiments and have attempted contact with currently known people in the Time Bridgers group. This contact from the future is what the Time Bridgers group has been founded around, from which implimentations of Glass Hour is practiced and explored.

The Time Bridgers are currently communicating with a few scientists who have theories and experimented in making Time Travel a reality, in regards to collecting objectifiable evidence and information regarding Glass Hours. According to the Time Bridgers, experiences that blend more into the paranormal and supernatural such as the seeing of partially corporeal forms (what most would consider ghosts), phantoms people have reported seeing in their periphery, flashes of light within the peripheral fields of visions, mistaking items or objects or even other people as something else or someone else (until closer examination), among countless other out-of-the-ordinary experiences, are all hints or clues to the presence Glass Hour phenomenon.
