Giorgio Cataldi is an Italian film actor discovered by Pier Paolo Pasolini and appeared in only two films.
There is little news about him. We know only that he was a friend of Pier Paolo Pasolini and that he was chosen to play the the role of "The Bishop" in Salò, or the 120 Days of Sodom (1975), directed by Pier Paolo Pasolini.
The following year he appeared in Ragazza alla pari (1976), by Mino Guerrini, where he interpreted the role of a man with a particular propensity towards carnal pleasures.
After his second and last film, Cataldi disappeared completely from the world of cinema, and thus returned to private life by continuing his work as a trader of clothes.
In Salò, or the 120 Days of Sodom Cataldi is voiced by the poet Giorgio Caproni.
