Gino Castignoli

Gino Castignoli is a construction worker and Boston Red Sox fan from The Bronx, New York, who attempted to "curse" the New York Yankees baseball team by burying the jersey of Red Sox designated hitter David Ortiz under the new Yankees Stadium in New York City. Planted during the summer of 2007, it was located April 12, 2008, and unearthed in a formal ceremony by the club on April 13.
