Gianna Suter

Gianna Marie Suter is a Mexican-American Radio/Television Broadcaster best known in the Los Angeles area. She can currently be heard Monday-Friday as a Los Angeles Traffic Reporter, most recently on "The Cliff Winston and Co. Morning Show", on V100 (100.3 FM) KRBV in Los Angeles. Suter has been heard reporting traffic, entertainment, news and sports on KNX, KKGO, KFWB, KRTH, KROQ with Kevin and Bean, KTWV, KLSX. She is also the co-host (with Chasta Freeman and Natalie Paige) of "3way Talk" that airs nationally on CRN.

Early life

Born and raised in San Diego, California, Suter is a former Miss Chula Vista (1997), Miss San Diego County (1997), and the 1997 Miss Fairest of the Fair (Previous winners include Raquel Welch and Runner up Barbara Mandrell). She also held the title of Miss Prescott Arizona USA and competed in both the Miss California USA and Miss Arizona USA State Pageants. A graduate of Bonita Vista High School, She attended Southwestern College and Pasadena City College where she received a vocational degree in Broadcasting.

Career

Gianna started her career at 16, when she was accepted to an intership program through the CCNMA (Chicano News and Media Association) that allowed her to anchor a special late night news cast on KNSD in San Diego. She later moved to Los Angeles eventually working for Shadow Broadcasting (now Metro Networks) as a Traffic and News Reporter. Other credits include News Writer/Reporter for Accesshollywood.com. Producer/Reporter for Outback Productions and Arizona Bike Week (Phoenix, Arizona). While in Phoenix, she returned to her traffic roots as the Television Morning Traffic Reporter for the Phoenix Fox Affiliate (KSAZ Channel 10). She also Hosted and Produced a Weekly magazine show called "Living it up in Arizona" that aired statewide on AZTV. Upon returning to Los Angeles, she assumed her duties as a Los Angeles Traffic Reporter and doubling up as a National Sports Update Anchor for Fox Sports Radio. She also co-hosted a popular morning show in the San Bernardino area, on KWIE 96.1 FM, from June of 2006 to July of 2007.

Outside of broadcasting, Gianna has worked as an actress, model and voice over actor on various film, television and industrial projects.

Personal

Suter is unmarried and resides in the Southern California area.
