GGF-001 Phoenix Gundam

An original Mobile Suit created for the video game SD Gundam G-Generation F, the Phoenix Gundam is a mysterious machine. Although nominally a Gundam, it seems to have few common features with other notable Gundams. However, like most Gundams, it has superior ranged and close combat abilities, as well as the ability to perform an all-range attack using its feather funnels. It also features a nano-skin coating that allows damage to be quickly repaired. The Phoenix Gundam can also transform into a bird-like Mobile Armor form; in this state, it can ignite itself and perform the body crash attack "Burning Fire". Origin Little is known about the Phoenix Gundam's origins. Officially, it is believed to come from beyond the solar system, like the CONCEPT-X 6-1-2 Turn X. This, along with its nano-skin system, have lead many to believe that Phoenix Gundam is somehow related to the Turn-X and its "brother", the SYSTEM ∀-99 ∀ Gundam. Some speculate that the Phoenix Gundam is meant to combine aspects of all the Gundam universes; indeed, some even believe that the Phoenix is the true essence of the Gundam, given physical form. However, all this remains speculation, and the Phoenix Gundam's true origins remain a mystery. In G Generation Spirits, along with the Phoenix Gundam, the prototype model Phoenix Zero also appeared.
