Geosexing

Geosexing, also called "geobanging" is a variant on geocaching, in which participating couples use a Global Positioning System receiver or other navigational techniques to designate or seek out locations in which to have sexual intercourse. As in geocaching, the designated locations contain a cache, often a small waterproof container, with a logbook and "treasure," any of various inexpensive sexual accessories or novelties.
History
Geosexing was imagined by an employee at a small software company after researching geocaching for an ad campaign proposed by a famous outdoor clothing company. After some extensive research it was determined that the game had not been clearly conceptualized, or at least published, which led to the creation of this entry.
Distinguished from Geoshagging
Geosexing is not the same as "geoshagging", in which participants seek out specific locations in the hopes that they will come across another participant, presumably a stranger, willing to engage in immediate sexual intercourse. In geosexing, participants are couples or groups that are already familiar with one another and that travel together to a specific location in order to engage in sexual intercourse with each other at that location. In other words it is not a means of meeting sexual partners, but merely a means of choosing new an interesting locations in which to have sex.
