George Sebastian is a fictional character in the Left Behind series. He is a well-trained military soldier and helicopter pilot. Plot summary George is kidnapped in Desecration, and makes an escape in The Remnant when he kills one of his captors by crushing her under his body weight with a tackle. George grew up an atheist in San Diego, California, and was witnessed to by a copilot in the United States Air Force. After the Rapture he and his wife became believers and had a daughter. During the Battle of Armageddon, Sebastian establishes a ragtag defense perimeter around the city of Petra to defend the believers inside the city. Sebastian is one of the few who survives the Tribulation and witnesses Jesus Christ's return to Earth. |
