Geoff Bowen

Geoff Bowen is a jazz drummer and teacher of jazz drumming who was born in England during the era of the Big Band and who moved to America and Canada in the 60's where he has worked with some of the best known names in jazz music.
Bowen has played with Buddy DeFranco/Tommy Gumina Quartet, Tommy Gumina Trio with Ray Brown, Chet Baker Quintet, Red Norvo Quintet, Herb Ellis Trio, and João Donato Quartet amongst others.
He has played in a big band venue with Stan Kenton, Louis Bellson, Dick Stabile and Ziggy Elman as well as accompanying vocalists Pearl Bailey and June Christy.
