Geesche Jacobsen

Geesche Jacobsen is an Australian journalist. She emigrated from Germany after studying in England and has worked for the Fairfax newspapers Australian Financial Review and the Sydney Morning Herald. She has been a State Parliamentary reporter, covered Higher Education, Liquor and Gaming and courts. Since 2008 she has been the Sydney Morning Herald's Crime Editor. As a court reporter, she covered the inquest into the death of Dianne Brimble between March 2006 and July 2007. In 2009 she reported on the trial of Mark Wilhelm, who was accused of her manslaughter. Those charges were dropped in April 2010. |
