Gator Party Bus

The Gator Party Bus is a University of Florida student owned and operated tailgate and party bus. As of 2009, this is the only full sized school bus conversion to a tailgating vehicle at the University of Florida. Media Representation "THE BUS!" or "Shelly" has been featured on many news outlets for it's originality and fan base. It has been featured on ESPN GameDay for the Gators' 2008 home football game vs The University of Miami, the student newspaper The Alligator, GainesvilleSports.com, and the Gainesville Sun. History Shelly was originally built in 1972 as a 1973 model Ford Blue Bird school bus. She was then purchased by some avid Nascar fans in Casadaga, FL who converted to a legal RV. Since that time, she had been to every Daytona 500 race until Shelly was purchased in September 2008 for $2000 on Craigslist.org.
