Gassama Alfusainey (born 6 January 1996), formerly known as Cesc Gassama, is an Gambian professional footballer who plays as a for Malaysian Premier League club Kelantan United. A versatile forward, Gassama main strengths are his pace and technical ability. Club career Banjul Hawks After displaying some talent, he was offered the chance to join the Banjul Hawks academy in Gambia in late-2016. However, he was offered a professional contract. Pyeongtaek Citizen A year later, Gassama travelled to South Korea and signed for K3 League club Pyeongtaek Citizen on a one-year contract. Kelantan United On 20 July 2019, Gassama signed for Malaysia M3 League club, Kelantan United. He scored a hat-trick on his first appearance against Penjara FC. Personal life Gassama is Muslim and celebrates goals by performing the sujud. |
