Campaign sign arrests
On 19 February 2007, two 18-year-old residents of Glendora started attaching stickers to campaign signs posted on public property in Glendora, with the text "This sign violates Glendora city ordinance." Then council-member Gary Clifford, whose signs were among those to which stickers were attached, called the police. Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Terry Green allowed the suit to proceed.
