Garry Leech

Garry Leech is a British-born American independent journalist, author and publisher of the online journal Beyond Capital, which provides critical analysis of global capitalism and looks at possibilities for establishing more democratic, egalitarian and sustainable alternatives. He was formerly the editor of Colombia Journal, which analyzed U.S. foreign policy in Colombia. Leech wrote and edited Colombia Journal for eleven years (2000-2011) and while he is no longer updating that website, its more than 350 articles remain available online as a valuable resource for anyone interested in the U.S. intervention in Colombia under the guises of the war on drugs and the war on terror.
