Gantto is a web based planning application. Users can collaborate in real-time to create and edit Gantt charts. Gantto's core functionality is similar to Microsoft Project with collaborative aspects of Google Docs. History Gantto was conceived to fill one gap in the founders weekly management routines. Each week they would collect status information based upon what was happening inside their organization and then update our project models to reflect and digest the changes. Gantto was founded in 2010 with Funding from Y combinator and 500 Startups. It launched in August 2010. Features Gantto is a SaaS application. It runs in modern web browsers on Windows and Macintosh. With Gantto, multiple users can edit a chart simultaneously to facilitate rapid planning and coordination between geographically separated teams. Charts may also be shared and viewed offline via web links.
