Ganpal

Ganpal or Gunpal is a Cast / Tribes, clan of Rajput originally from Rajasthan India but after division of Indo Continent,they split
into Hindu and Muslims , living in Central Punjab of Pakistan and Indian province of Rajasthan.
A Rajput King Vinepal came to Rajasthan and built a fort of Bathinda along the banks of Sutlej river and declared its capital. Waryah or Warya was from the 26th generation of Rajput Ganpal ,Vineypal, Vijaypal and Satpal were from the lineage of Waryah.
Later in 1502 AD some of the generation of Ganpal opted religion of Islam and settled in Central Pakistan near Beas river, Sutlej,Burewala,Abdul Hakeem, Kamalia, Chicha Watni, Mian Channu ,Multan, Khanewal and Saraye Siddhu etc. During British India Government of Indaur or Indore, one of their Dewans which means Prime Minister was "Mr.Ganpal Rao" in 1811 AD.
