Gallery of Pearls

The term galleryrefers to an organization, building, or room exhibiting works of art either individually or in collections.   The "art" can be any item that a person considers to be appealing, beautiful, meaningful, or uniquely crafted, which typically includes: paintings, sculptures, drawings and jewelry.  The genuine is considered a natural form of art since it is a hard lustrous object that grows from a live organism inside the shell of a mollusk such as mussels and oysters.

The art form may be for viewing purposes only or for purchase depending upon the type of gallery and/or items displayed.   In turn, the term Gallery of Pearls refers to an exhibit of quality pearls and or pearl jewelry displayed either through pictures or in-person at a facility or vitually via the internet.   A collection of pearls is most typically organized by individual jewelry pieces (pearl necklaces, bracelets, earrings, sets, etc) or pearl fashion categories (modern, classic, wedding, casual, etc).  Additionally, a gallery will often seek to educate its patrons with unbiased information about its art to deepen the overall viewing experience.

The phrase Gallery of Pearls also exists as the name of an organization that displays and sells
fine pearl jewelry as works of art to be admired, purchased and worn by a person throughout their life.
