Gaffer is an international bi-annual London-based print magazine and digital platform founded in 2019. The publication bridges the gap between football, music, fashion and culture. History Gaffer was founded by Jordan Wise and Hamish Stephenson in February 2019 as a print magazine with the aim of looking beyond the contributions of footballers on the pitch and musicians on the stage. In February 2019, Gaffer released its inaugural issue titled England’s Finest. It marked its opening with an official launch party at Tramp London. Interviews from the first issue with Callum Hudson-Odoi and Aaron Wan-Bissaka attracted attention from British print media outlets. Issue two, titled Heart and Soul, also gained extensive media coverage through interviews with Andre Gray, Andreas Pereira, Maya Jama and Michail Antonio, followed by a later piece with Rhian Brewster. |
