Gabriel Pascuzzi is an American chef and restaurateur most known for competing on the television competition series Top Chef: Portland. His restaurants have included Mama Bird and the defunct Stacked Sandwich Shop. Early life Pascuzzi was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. He graduated from Ida B. Wells High School in 2004, and later attended the Johnson & Wales College of Culinary Arts in Denver. According to Alex Frane of Eater Portland, "At the age of eighteen wrote himself a contract: he would work for the best chefs, no matter what it paid, no matter what his relationships were, no matter the hours, until he was 26. And he did just that, working at high-end dining restaurants in New York City until he moved back to Portland, his hometown, in 2012 at the age of 27." Career In New York, Pascuzzi worked at restaurants owned by Daniel Boulud and Tom Colicchio. He was the head chef at Multnomah Whiskey Library, as of 2014-2015. He was named Chef of the Year by Eater Portland in 2017. He has appeared on (season 18, episode 13). Pascuzzi opened the restaurant Mama Bird in 2019. Feel Good in southeast Portland in 2021.
