G.I.D (Getting It Done) or G.I.D.I ( Get in done Immediately /Get It Done Indeed) An acronym meaning ; Getting It Done , Used when a certain task needs to be completed e.g. Scenario 1 : A Music event is on and friend A says to Friend B lets get it done (G.I.D being the acronym) or Scenario 2 : Friend A says to Friend B "pub lunch ?" friend B responds " get it done" (G.I.D being the acronym) Getting it Done- A Historical Perspective: The origins of G.I.D are as old as time itself. No matter one's notion of how civilisation came to be, it started with some cells/organisms/god getting it done. Evolution therefore is,in its very essence, getting it done. If there was in fact a God/Gods that created the Earth and all its intricacies then well, they got it done and they got it done immediately ( gidi). |
