Fydellian Vessel

A Fydellian Vessel is the broad term for a craft that is capable of traversing any medium in any state of matter. This type of vessel was first imagined in the story "The Journeys of the Afluid" by Chase Daily. In the story, the Afluid is a Fydellian vessel that is constructed by a faction of humanity to preserve their way of life and from which they can carry out military campaigns against their rival factions. The Afluid achieves its status as a Fydellian vessel by counter-synchronizing the magnetic force properties of the craft and its inhabitants. This causes the matter to maintain its organization and integrity while exempting it from interference from matter outside the craft's synchronization ratio. The Afluid is, in a sense, occupying time but not space. |
