The site is owned by Forexstreet S.L and is registered at the Registro Mercantil de Barcelona. FXstreet is published for more than 50 countries across seventeen languages and it is among the top-ten online currency trading portals in the world.
Francesc Riverola, an economist from Barcelona, launched the website in 2000 with the vision of serving comprehensive currency trading coverage online. Together with partners Míriam Pinatell and Sergi Fernández the site was expanded into an international business.
