Funktry

This west coast style of American music is that of combing the genres of "Country" and "Funk". Usually has a set of instruments found in traditional Country music, the funk elements are typically found in the arrangement, groove and vocal performances and practices.

The east coast version of the sub-genre is commonly referred to as "funkabilly" but the end result usually has a similar sound which most describe as "Country with groove".
