Fruit Loko

Fruit Loko is a puzzle video game developed by Aeralas using the GameSalad software. The game was first released for iOS in March 2010. In the game, players guide a spike-fish named Vax through a sea of falling fruit. Each fruit is worth a different amount and three game modes are accessible which includes Classic, Quick, and Miss Mode. Classic Fruit is a level mode where players advance through twenty similar levels. In each level higher fruit appear and the player must beat a predetermined score to move on. The player must avoid other spike-fish or lose points. Quick game is a short version with all fruit unlocked and a thirty second time limit. Miss Mode is an unending mode where the player must miss more fruit than they collect. Fruit Loko has been praised for its addictive gameplay. It's popularity over the first month has spurred the production of various versions of Fruit Loko including an upcoming Fruit Loko version 2.0. Fruit Loko 2.0 will include updated color palettes and better graphics and gameplay. Fruit Loko 2.0 will be released on 6/4/2011. There is a free version called Fruit Loko Lite and the 99 cent version, Fruit Loko.
