From Hell is the only album released by Justin Broadrick using the name Krackhead, a precursor to JK Flesh. Like Submerged Technology, it was self released by Broadrick on June 1, 2009 through his Bandcamp page. Pitchfork has compared the project to JK Flesh as an example of Broadrick's "oppressive" industrial drum and bass output. Background The album is a remastered archive collection of all tracks produced for the project in the late 1990s, including "Cruise Control" and "Phaseday" which previously appeared on the compilations The Lo Fibre Companion and Future Noir respectively. EPs on Spite and Lo Fibre as well as an LP of the same name on Ipecac were planned but never materialized. From Hell then went on to serve as inspiration for the Curse of the Golden Vampire album Mass Destruction. Track listing Personnel * Justin Broadrick - instruments, production
