Frishay Ltd. is an online retail service based in the UK. Incorporated in 2021, Frishay’s website serves as a platform that allows online shoppers from all over the world to buy a wide variety of products. Unlike other similar platforms, such as eBay, Amazon and AliExpress, which act as intermediaries between buyers and sellers, most of the trading on Frishay is done directly between the platform and the buyers.
History
Frishay was started by Rashid Manhas, a professional digital marketer from Pakistan currently residing in Germany. A year after its creation, 20% of Frishay's shares were acquired by Afshan Bi, who thus became a minority shareholder.
Business model
Frishay is an online store that operates as a business-to-customer buying and selling portal where customers can buy directly from the site, which is responsible for shipping the purchased goods to them.
Since its launch in 2021, Frishay has seen explosive growth leading it to establish warehouses in the United States, Canada, Germany, Australia and Poland. This was favored by the global confinement scenario experienced during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The company currently employs 16 people, has an annual sales volume of US$112,000, and is valued at US$500,000.
