Freemu Varghese

Freemu Kuruvilla Varghese is a Nephrologist of Indian Origin in the U.S. at Diagnostic Clinic of Houston, in the Texas Medical Center. He is also a film producer and president of Freedia Entertainment, Texas.
Education
Freemu Varghese studied at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Port Blair. He graduated from the Shyam Shah Medical College India in 1980. He completed his post graduate work from Christian Medical College, Ludhiana then completed his residency at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine and a fellowship at UT Houston.
Career
Varghese is affiliated with Memorial Hermann Hospital, Methodist Hospital, Park Plaza Hospital, St Joseph Medical Center and Texas West Oaks Hospital. He speaks English and Spanish. Varghese assumed Presidency of the Association of Kerala Medical Graduates at the American Kerala Medical Convention in 2012. During his presidency, an MoU was signed with Kerala University of Health Sciences to explore, collaborate and develop a partnership for improved education, training and research sciences in Kerala. He is also an advisory board member of Malayali Magazine, a lifestyle magazine for American Malayalees.
He has produced a Malayalam film Hello Namasthe under the banner of Freedia Entertainments in 2016.
Personal life
Varghese is married to Rachel and has two children.
