Frank Scaglione is an American weathercaster who works at KCCI-TV in Des Moines, Iowa. He is noted for his accomplishments in early life; both in business and broadcasting. Early life and business Scaglione spent the first seven years of his life on the south side of Des Moines, Iowa before moving to Waukee, Iowa in 1998. He began working for his grandfather's auto auction business there when he was ten years old, eventually being promoted to the post of Vice President of Marketing and Communications by age 16. In 2008, he founded his own business, an advertising agency, at the age of 17. While attending Waukee High School, Scaglione served as an appointed member of the Iowa State Board of Education. Broadcasting career Scaglione created IowaWeatherNow, a website that provided daily weather forecasts for the state of Iowa, in 2006. He was then hired by KCCI-TV as a technology coordinator in early 2009 at the age of 17.<ref name="patch" /> Later that year, Scaglione was promoted to an on-air weathercaster, a position he still holds. Scaglione operates a Facebook page and twitter feed that provides viewers with daily forecasts. Personal life Scaglione currently resides in Clive, Iowa. He is attending AIB College of Business in Des Moines as a business administration major.<ref name="dcn" />
