Frank Dopatka (born January 31, 1978 in Bergneustadt, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany) is a German book author in the field of computer science and engineering. Life Dopatka studied technical and media computer science at Cologne University of Applied Sciences and media studies at University of Siegen. In mid-2008 he received his doctorate there in the interdisciplinary areas of mathematical graph theory, scheduling, real-time Ethernet networks, and motion control as a special field of automation. He was appointed in 2010 to a professorship at the Faculty of computer science at Reutlingen University. Dopatka is author of textbooks in the field of object-oriented programming and creation of PDF forms. In addition to his teaching duties at the university, he is a freelance IT consultant.
