Formulatrix is an international manufacturer of protein crystallization lab equipment, including crystallization imagers, liquid handlers, and protein crystallography software. Formulatrix is headquartered in Waltham, Massachusetts, with additional facilities in Amsterdam, the Netherlands; Lahore, Pakistan; and Salatiga, Indonesia. History Formulatrix was founded by Mr. Jeremy Stevenson in 2002 when he was contracted to develop software that automated the protein crystallographic process. In 2006 Formulatrix created a line of liquid handlers that use a microfluidic chip to dispense grids, dilutions, and random experiments .
