Forex Tester is a computer trading simulator of the Forex market. It allows the user to practice trading and test out different trading strategy on the historical market data (to perform backtesting), rather than risk real money. The simulator gives total control over the testing process. The user can select the testing speed, make a pause, track history forward by bars, or roll it back if the activities result into a loss, enter new parameters and retest the strategy. The Forex simulator has a built-in library of popular indicators and oscillators that will help the trader to decide when to enter or exit a trade. History The first Forex Tester version was developed by Mike (aka Terranin) in 2006. Originally he created the program only for improving his own trading skills. Then Mike shared Forex Tester with his friends - Forex traders and they found it extremely helpful. So Mike decided that the program could help Forex traders to save their time and reduce the risk of loosing money on this volatile market. Since then Forex Tester become commercial product and was greatly improved to satisfy different trader needs. Official site was launched on 25 May 2006.
