Flynn Blackie

'Flynn Blackie' (born in April 2003) is the Director and Founder of lead generation and digital marketing agency MOD Digital Limited. At only 18 years of age, Flynn is one of the youngest British entrepreneurs, having twice received recognition as a Young British Entrepreneur of the Year finalist. Flynn has also been singled out by British financial institution, Starling Bank, as one of their youngest ever business customers since joining the banking service as a 16-year-old Company Director.
Early Life
Flynn was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, in the United Kingdom. For his secondary education, he went to Broughton High School, Edinburgh, but later dropped out in order to pursue his passion for business.
Business Career:
Flynn Blackie developed his appetite for business while in high school, trialing various side hustles which included flipping chewing gum and reselling rare streetwear. MOD Digital Limited started as one such side hustle, when Blackie started building websites as a 15-year-old high school student. He then dropped out of Broughton High in the summer of 2019 to take up his business full time.
MOD Digital Limited creates digital adverts using a psychological approach. In its operations, Blackie has since grown the company into a six-figure agency, where, as at December 2021, he remains the sole director and founder.
Coronavirus Business Support Efforts
During the coronavirus pandemic, Flynn sought to help mitigate the impact of a lockdown on small business operations by launching a Coronavirus Business Support Service. This was to help companies in need of fast support, which included building them websites within a week, at discounted rates.
