Flyington Freighters was a failed cargo airline project to be based in Hyderabad, India. Initially, services between India and China were planned, with later expansion into Europe and Africa. The airline was owned by Deccan Holdings. The airline became never operational, and was shut down in 2009. Fleet Originally having evaluated the alternative Boeing 777 freighter, Flyington Freighters signed an order for 12 Airbus A330-200F cargo aircraft equipped with the Pratt & Whitney PW4170 jet engine in 2007, which would have made the airline the launch customer of this type.. |
