Forbidden Lands MUD (FLMUD) is a multiplayer text-based adventure game with roots from SillyMUD and DikuMUD. Commonly referred to as FL, Forbidden Lands is online at FL MUD is now running at flmud.qhcf.net port 2000. History FL Mud traces its roots back to Diku, and then SillyMUD. In the early 1990s FL MUD started as a SillyMud derivative. From 1991 - 1995 FL remained very similar to SillyMud. By 1996 FL Mud had transitioned to its own MUD and was copywrited by Paul Cole, Jonathan Monteleone, and Joel McQuilliams. FL MUD had a number of management changes and adjustments from 1996 - 2008, making FL both a long-running and modern Mud. |
