The Flack-Council-Coleman Reunion (FCC), established in 1917, is a historic black family reunion in Asheville, NC. A descendant of the first black family reunion in the nation, the Baird Reunion, also held in Asheville, it is the second oldest black family reunion in the United States. Flack and discovering the whereabouts of family members lost during slavery. After the initial birthday celebration, other Flack family branches, the Council and Coleman family members throughout the United States were welcomed to join the reunion in an effort to embrace and reconnect with each other. These families have continued to seek lost and missing family members and invite them back to the original home church in Alexander, North Carolina since that time until today.
