First Councilor is a fictional position in the Sword of Truth fantasy series by Terry Goodkind. Responsibilities First Councilor is the title given to the leader of the nation of Westland. Responsible for all of the towns and villages of Westland as well as the country people, the First Councilor is also Commander in Chief of the Westland Army. Michael Cypher was appointed First Councilor at the beginning of the series and held that position until his death. First Councilor |
