Firewatch is an upcoming adventure video game that is currently in development by Campo Santo and is the company's first game. The game was first announced in 2014 and has a projected release date of 2015. A trailer for the game was released in August 2014 and it was announced that the game would be released on Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems. A live demo was snown at PAX Prime.
Firewatch is set in Wyoming during 1989 and focuses on the character of Henry, a volunteer fire lookout for a remote forest that finds himself embroiled in a mystery. Developers have stated that while the game has open world elements, it will be different from open world games such as Skyrim and will focus predominantly on narrative storytelling.<ref name=pcg />
