Finnish Fibreboard Ltd. () is a European wood fibreboard producer and manufacturer.
The company’s factories are located in Heinola and in Pori.
Siemens controllers with Delcon's relays are used in the Finnish Fibreboard's Heinola plant.
Its products include various kinds of LION hardboards that are mainly used in construction, door and furniture industries.
History
Finnish Fibreboard Ltd. was founded in 1984 when Enso-Gutzeit Oy and A.Ahlström Oy combined their fibreboard industries into one company. The management purchased 83% of the company’s shares with an MBO trade in 1998. The second partner at the time was UPM-Kymmene Oyj with a 17% share. In 2009 Versowood Oy became co-owner with a 19,5% share. Currently the Finnish Fiberboard management has a 66% share and UPM-Kymmene Oyj has a 14,5% share in the company’s stock.
