FinalBurn Alpha

FinalBurn Alpha is an open source arcade game emulator targeting hardware based on MC68000/68020 and MOS6502/Z80 CPUs. Current support includes Capcom CPS-1, CPS-2 and CPS-3, SNK Neo-Geo, Toaplan, Cave, Taito F2/F3, Sega System 16/18 and others .
FinalBurn Alpha is derived from the FinalBurn emulator first released in September 2000 which emulated games running on Sega System 16 and Sega X Board boards. It was the first arcade emulator to run the games After Burner and Power Drift.
Originally developed for the Microsoft Windows platform, FinalBurn Alpha has subsequently been ported to other Operating Systems including BeOS and Linux. There are also derivatives supporting home consoles such as Xbox, Xbox 360 and PS3 plus hand held devices including the PSP.
